God's Good When I'm Dumb. Psalm 73:22-28

What reassurance it is that God has called us his own and will never leave us even when we're "senseless and ignorant". I don't know if you can look back at times in your life when you fit that category, but I know I sure can. If not for the grace of God I'm quite confident I would be a complete mess.

There truly is nothing greater than following the Lord and it's the only life that provides enduring fulfillment. I'm so thankful God lets us to draw near to him even when we mess up!

Psalm 73:22-28
22 I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.

23 Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.

24 You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.

25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
27 Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

This is a great passage for starters. But all the time i hear at school "well i can do pot this one time..." or "Oh its okay i can go do wrong things...because i know God can forgive me."

I cant stand when people say that and I dont know how to respond beause technically God will forgive you..but..its wrong to think of it that way.
